Mankind’s leprosy is our
Original Sin, and we all do fall short of the GLORY of GOD,
such is our Soul’s state; at the start of JESUS’ EUCHARIST, we do use their prayer.
With all Lepers we pray, “LORD have MERCY, CHRIST have MERCY, LORD have MERCY!
We must be aware, it is easy to get ahead of
ourselves and become like the nine,
even
after our COMMUNION when we have truly BECOME what we have CONSUMED.
We easily forget to thank our GOD for HIS GIFT of our NEW LIFE in CHRIST’S RISEN JOY!
Do recall, when we CONSUME JESUS’ BODY and BLOOD, we are ALIVE in HIS RISEN JOY,
as we
are GOD’S CHILDREN ALIVE in CHRIST, we let HIS LIGHT SHINE in sin’s misery.
As the tenth Leper revels CHRIST to us in his thanks, it is so in our thanks to JESUS.
We need JESUS’ CHURCH and HIS SACRAMENTS for our NEW LIFE in CHRIST’S RISEN JOY!
